The "tanned" face issue, for lack of a better word, happens to me from time to time. The brows go missing and the face take on a deep shade of brown. It seems to be a texture issue, maybe even tied to unique player. I usually keep the used textures on my desktop and replace them inside the data folder when it happens.

So I'm using Oni Asian Face textures and preset for looks menu but the top eyelashes clip thru the center of her eyes, her eyes don't change to the right Asian shape I think. This is the Oni wet face texture, but it's kept the vanilla face texture but oni's overlay (not even sure why it's doing this but it's an indication that something of it's being loaded up, just not the skin) This is the face when I have Dry oni installed, the face doesn't get changed in the slightest This is when using the Valkyr/IDA textures

Load this mod after. The mod edits the number 2 (young) options in face editing, example: Nose Pretty 2 ect. With cheeks, forehead, neck ect take the second option.(If neck and forehead is to light take first option for them) Turn of blemishes if face is too pink. Remeber this is xbox so it might not look as good as some pc screenshots.

8bitHandyman • 7 yr. ago From what I can see several people have had the same issue, especially when mixing and matching vanilla assets with the mod's replacements. I'm not sure why the preset isn't changing your face accordingly but I think if you manually find the relevant nose, mouth, hair, etc. you'd get your screenshot.

Overseer Vault 88 • 2 yr. ago This is a super common issue I myself deal with on my follower from time to time. The only way I know how to fix it is do a hard reset and load the game back up, it typically fixes when you clear your temp data.
